Peters Cup Results

On Sunday 1st October, the MSA Bowling Section hosted the first open tournament for the 2023/24 season when they hosted their Peters Cup Open Fours Tournament with a full green of 64 players, the competition was very competitive and friendly with some great bowls being played
Winners on the day were
1st: Graham Bishop, Murray Smallridge, Denise Taylor Melva Middleton
2nd: Min Hill, Murray Anderson, John Kewish, Leone Spargo
3rd: Peter Whinham. Wayne Lloyd, Michael Buchanan, Graham Clarke
4th: Liam O, Connor, Joc O, Connor Nathan McKay, Evan Pearce
This tournament is special for former mayor Murray Anderson as he purchased his property from the late Bill Peters, so it was pleasing  to see his team picking up some prizemoney.
Congratulations to our Greenkeepers Russell Ward and Tony Inwood for the excellent green presented to bowlers.
